strike 是指「敲打」，而 iron 是「鐵」。鐵匠在製作鐵器時，必須在鐵燒得火紅的時候敲打，才能做出想要的形狀，也就是中文中常說的「打鐵趁熱」。

我們應該趁勝追擊，消滅敵軍。
