在一月，日本兒童節目 Kinder TV 播出了新的系列短片叫《天竺 鼠車車》。這個節目讓觀眾體驗了居住著可愛又毛茸茸天竺鼠的世界， 其中天竺鼠作為車子在城市的馬路上趴趴走。

In January, the Japanese children’s program Kinder TV broadcast a new series of short films called PUI PUI MOLCAR . The show introduces viewers to a world that is populated by cute, fuzzy guinea pigs that move around their city as cars on the roadways. It utilizes stop-motion techniques with wool felt dolls as the main characters, which are all carefully hand-sewn. With its cute imagery and simple storylines, it has been well-received by audiences online, especially in Japan and Taiwan.

     So what about the name of the show? The term MOLCAR is a combination of morumotto , meaning guinea pigs in Japanese, and the word car. As for the words PUI PUI , they represent the squeaky sounds guinea pigs make.

     The episodes last only a few minutes and don’t involve any dialogue, so they are easily accessible to international audiences. The animator and director, Tomoki Misato, hopes the world of wool felt guinea pig cars will help people relieve the stress and worry that come with life in busy modern cities.
