        While you may think of goats as cute animals, they also make for effective firefighters. In Chile, a country that suffers from frequent and __1__ wildfires, these hungry animals are being used as a natural and sustainable way to protect forests. They do this by feeding on the dry vegetation that __2__ the flames. The technique is known as strategic grazing and has been used successfully in other countries like Portugal and Spain. It is proving to be more efficient and cheaper than __3__ methods.

        One place where goats have been making a positive __4__ is the Bosques de Chacay, a 16-hectare park near the city of Santa Juana. Co-founded by Rocio Cruces, the park features rare and endangered plant species. After deadly wildfires __5__ the region, Cruces started the Buena Cabra project, which means “good goat” in Spanish. She began with 16 goats in 2017 and now has 150 of them that roam freely in the park and nearby areas. Each animal __6__ as much as 10 kilograms of vegetation per day.
