Researchers in the Netherlands Develop Virtually Painless Needle-Free Injections
In the year 2021, people all over the world got the vaccine against COVID-19. However, many people are deathly afraid of needles, so they refused to get any of the vaccines.
In the Netherlands, a group of researchers has been working around the clock on virtually painless needle-free injections. This can ease the fear of needles and help more people stay safe. A “Bubble Gun” uses lasers to push droplets through the outer layer of skin. This process does not cause pain because nerve endings are not touched. Also, the process is faster than a mosquito bite and the skin does not get damaged. This invention can prevent contamination from dirty needles, reduce medical waste, and help more people get vaccinated.
