Last Friday night, my friends and I attended a free outdoor concert held at a city park downtown. By the time we arrived, the venuewasalready packed withconcert-goers. As soon as the musicians stepped onto the stage, everyone burst intoan enthusiastic cheer. Throughout the show, energy permeatedthe entire place. A lot of fans were waving glow sticksin the air while others were recording the performances with their phones.
After two joyful hours, the event was over, but the last song was still lingering in my mind. I felt thrilled until I noticed a considerable amount of trash on the ground. Peopleleft behindplastic bags and soda cans. It was a mood killerof an otherwise pleasant evening. I picked upas many pieces of litter as I could, put them into a plastic bag, and threw them in a trash bin. My friendsfollowed suit. To prevent such a mess from happening, people should do their partand take their garbage with them when they leave a concert.
A lot of outdoor activities will take place in the park tomorrow.
