全　部	both	all

both、all
用 法	both 表示「兩者都」，all 表示「全部」。
句 型	both（ 表複數可數名詞時） + 複數動詞  all（ 表複數可數名詞時） + 複數動詞  all（ 表不可數名詞時） + 單數動詞
例 句	Henry has two sisters. Both live in Taipei.  亨利有兩個姊姊。兩位都住在臺北。  All were happy with the results.  所有人都對結果很滿意。  All that I want is peace and quiet.  我想要的就是平靜而已。

 

either、any
用 法	either 表示「兩者中任一」，any 表示「三者（ 或以上） 中任一」。
句 型	either + 單數動詞  any（ 表「any + 複數可數名詞」的概念時） + 複數動詞  any（ 表「any + 不可數名詞」的概念時） + 單數動詞
例 句	I don’t care whether you serve coffee or tea; either is fine.  我不在乎你上咖啡還是茶；兩個都可以。 I need some coins. Are there any in your purse? 我需要一些硬幣。你的錢包裡有嗎？ I want some water, but there isn’t any left in my bottle. 我想喝水，但我的瓶子裡一滴都不剩了。
