Ask any pet owner, and they will tell you how important their furry friend is to their life. Pets fill our lives with fun and joy. They provide unconditional comfort when we are at our lowest. It’s no surprise, then, that the death of a pet can be overwhelming. People often struggle to put the heartbreaking emotions they feel into words. That’s where the poem “Rainbow Bridge” comes into play.
“Rainbow Bridge” describes a magical place somewhere between heaven and Earth that is made of grassy meadows and sunny hills. __1__ Here, they can run around and play with each other in bliss. Eventually, though, each animal looks into the distance and runs off into the arms of their beloved owner in the afterlife.
