什麼能比說『是的』更容易的呢？畢竟，你甚至可以不說一句話就能表達同意之情：簡單點個頭就能讓訊息被理解。
然而，表達同意的方式有很多種：從正式到非正式、從弱到強。今天就來學學幾個表達同意和批准的英文用法。

 

 

I can agree to sth   我能同意某事

Ex: I can agree to your proposal regarding longer work hours for the staff.
(我能同意你關於延長員工工作時數的提案。)

I could go along with sb/sth   我能贊同⋯

Ex: I could go along with Ned's views on that matter.
(在那事上我能贊同奈德的看法。)

* go along with...　贊同某事；和某人觀點一致

I'm with you on...  就⋯⋯一事我同意你的看法。

Ex: We're all with you on this matter, David.
(大衛，就這件事我們都同意你的看法。)

I'm all for it.    我完全贊同那件事。

Ex: I've got nothing against change—I'm all for it.
(我並不反對改變─我完全贊同。)

I support your argument that...   我支持你⋯⋯的論點

Ex: I support your argument that we would be better off moving into plastics.
(針對我們改做塑膠業景況會較好的這項論點，我支持你的說法。)

I'm of the same mind / opinion (as sb) that...   我（和某人一樣）對⋯⋯抱持著相同的想法／意見

Ex: I am of the same mind / opinion as Cindy that we should look to close our worst performing outlets.
(針對我們該考慮關閉表現最差的經銷店一事，我和辛蒂抱持著相同的想法／意見。)

 

 

Are you of the same mind about / on...?   你對⋯⋯的意見相同嗎？

Ex: Are you of the same mind on the long-term objective?
(你對於長遠的目標意見相同嗎？)

Do you concur with...?   你同意⋯⋯嗎？

Ex: Do you concur with the management that bonuses should be held back this year?
(針對今年獎金保留不要發放，這件事你同意管理階層的做法嗎？)

Are you in favor of...?   你同意⋯⋯嗎？

Ex: Are you in favor of working longer hours in exchange for a four-day workweek?
(你是否贊成每天工作較長的時間以換取每星期工作四天？)

Are we all in agreement about...?  針對⋯⋯一事我們都一致同意了嗎？

Ex: Are we all in agreement about the price?
(針對價格一事我們大家都一致同意了嗎？)
