With the subscription business model having so many benefits,it’s no surprise thatmany companies have turned to it in recent years. One particular company that stands out fromothers is the US-based recycling business Ridwell, a company working to recycle items that are difficult to dispose of.
Ridwell was founded by a father and son in Seattle, Washington, after they struggled to find a place to safely dispose of old batteries. They realized that many of their neighbors probably struggled with the same issue. So when they finally found a proper location, they offered to collect everyone’s old batteries and dropthem offat the recycling center. The response they got was overwhelmingly positive, so the pairdecided to collect other difficult-to-recycle items from their neighbors. Eventually, their service grew into Ridwell.
