　　Around 5% of the world’s population have hazel eyes, and most of them are of European descent. The hazel color requires less melanin than brown eyes but more than blue or green. It is a blend of brown and green, often appearing to change shades in different lighting. Hazel eyes have a multi-colored nature due to uneven melanin distribution across the iris.

　　Amber eyes, comprising about 5% of the world’s population, are a rare yellow-brown shade often seen in people from Asia and South America. Their distinctive golden or coppery tint comes from a pigment called lipochrome.
