The novel explores many life goals that can be achievedby staying focused and having self-control, like saving money and pursuingan education. Joachim de Posada was a Puerto Rican professional speaker and business coach. He became very popular in the mid-2000s for his TED talks, books, and speeches about the principlesof the marshmallow experiment. He delivered5 speeches in both English and Spanish, and was a great role model and inspiration for many people.
Even though he spoke English with an accent, he was able to hold the attention of all his listeners. His audiencefound him an energeticspeaker and quite easy to understand. De Posada also performed the marshmallow experiment in Colombia and found that the results were very similar. Interestingly, one little girl tried to trick the researchers by hollowing outher marshmallow so that it seemed like she didn’t eat it!
