    After the supply of NEWater stabilized, the brand decided to explore more opportunities and enter the alcohol industry. In 2018, it partnered with a local Singaporean brewery. Together, they developed a light craft beer called NEWBrew. Although NEWBrew tastes like an ordinary craft beer, 95% of it is made using NEWater. Some other ingredients used in production include German barley, yeast from Norway, and calypso hops.

　　As it turns out, NEWater is an excellent choice for brewing because it has a neutral taste. This means that beers with various flavors can be brewed using NEWater. After its first release in 2018, NEWBrew introduced a new limited-edition beer in 2022. The beer comes in three different can designs. Each one highlights an important water landmark in Singapore that plays an important role in the effort to produce clean water.
