The common rain frog, also known as the bushveld rain frog, is an amphibian native to southern parts of Africa. This small creature can be easily recognized by its charming round appearance, with its body looking almost like a tiny balloon. It typically measures between three and six centimeters in length. Its skin is mostly a mixture of brown and gray, often with some lighter patches on its back that help it blend in with its sandy home. The frog’s short limbs and flat face further add to its unique look.
