The famous children’s story Le Petit Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry was first published in France in 1946. Since then, the story of The Little Prince and his incredible adventures has delighted audiences all over the world. For the 75th anniversary of the book’s publication, a special art exhibition is coming to Taipei for the first few months of 2022. A great team of artists—Aer Lu, Chang Chia-Ying, and Steven Choi—in association with AURA CREATIVE LAB have worked together to reimagine scenes and characters from The Little Prince’s adventures for guests to enjoy. Classic scenes from the story have been reinterpreted by outstanding storytellers, Mickey Huang and Ariel Lin, along with the talented musician, Sara Ho.
Le Petit Prince is one of the best-selling books of all time, loved by readers around the world. Visitors to the exhibition will see more than 470 versions of the book published in different languages over the decades. A collection of Saint-Exupéry’s original manuscripts and related writings will also be on display at the exhibition. To add a sense of adventure, letters and drawings will be hidden around the large interactive theater exhibition hall, waiting to be found by visitors as they explore the immersive scenes of Le Petit Prince . If you have the chance, celebrate the magic of Le Petit Prince at the Huashan 1914 Creative Park in Taipei. The exhibition will run until April 6.
