Discover the wonders of Patagonia.

Patagonia is a region that covers the southern end of South America. It spreads across the lands of Chile and Argentina. The region is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean in the east and the Pacific Ocean in the west. Patagonia covers about a million square kilometers in total. While Patagonia is mostly made up of grassland on its east side, it also includes the southern range of the Andes Mountains with lakes, fjords, glaciers, and rainforests in the west.

The name Patagonia came from the word “patagón.” The term was used by the Portuguese explorer Ferdinand Magellan to describe the natives when he arrived in the region in 1520. The early European explorers believed that the natives who lived in the region were giants with large feet. Some accounts even suggested they were up to 4.5 meters in height. These people, who are now believed to have been the Tehuelche people, were taller than the average Europeans of the time. It is also suspected that the early explorers thought they were giants because their feet were thickly wrapped in fur. This caused their footprints to be much larger than those of normal people.

The taste of my drink is similar to the taste of yours.

The taste of my drink is similar to that of yours.

The flowers in this area smell different from the flowers in that area.

The flowers in this area smell different from those in that area.

The price of a car is much higher than the price of a scooter.

The price of a car is much higher than that of a scooter.
