The Cooper’s Hill cheese-rolling event has been held annuallyevery May for several hundred years. Over the past few years, the event has drawn big crowds from all parts of the world. What exactly happens in this cheeserolling race? There are actually four races in all: three races for men and one for women. To enter the race, all you need to do isreach the top of Cooper’s Hill early and introduce yourself to the event organizers. The racers then lineup and wait for the signal. When the race begins, a wheel of cheese weighing around three kilograms is rolled down the hill and chased by the contestants.
