The Beast and the Bethany is the first book in a series by Jack Meggitt-Phillips. The second book, The Beast and the Bethany: Revenge of the Beast, follows Bethany and Ebenezer as they both attempt to become better people. However, given that Bethany is known for treating people badly and playing tricks, it is easier said than done. For example, people are unwilling to let her do volunteer work. Ebenezer is also having difficulty getting used to life without the beast’s potions. To top it all off, the beast doesn’t seem to be completely gone.
