L: Lucy W: Will
Lucy and Will just finished a meal at a restaurant in a small town. Lucy is surprised to find that the restaurant doesn’t accept credit card payments.
L: Oh, no. They don’t take credit cards. What are we gonna do?
W: Good thing I brought some cash. I’ll cover dinner this time.
L: Phew, thanks! I didn’t think to bring cash. I’m so used to using my credit card everywhere.
W: Same here. I almost didn’t bring cash either. But it’s always good to have some on hand, especially for small, local spots like this.
L: True, but I feel more secure using my credit card. If I lose it or it gets stolen, I can cancel it right away. Plus, I get rewards when I use it.
