Sharon and her friend Frank are discussing checking in for a flight online.
S: Hey, Frank. I just got this email from the airline saying I can check in online. Do I have to do that?
F: You don’t have to, but it’s really convenient. It saves time at the airport. You just check in through the airline’s website or app.
S: Oh, I see. What do I need to do to check in?
F: Just enter your booking number and passport details on the website. Once you finish following the instructions, you’ll get your boarding pass.
S: Do I need to print it out?
F: Not necessarily. You can save it on your phone as a QR code, but it’s best to print a copy just in case.
