　　Wind turbines are excellent sources of clean, renewable energy. However, a problem comes up when these giant machines reach the end of their operational lifespan after 20 years of use. How should they be disposed of? Many of the parts can be recycled, but this can be a long process that takes a lot of energy. One European company has come up with a unique approach to recycling wind turbines. The main advantage of this method is that it does not require melting down large amounts of steel or other materials.
