How Turing paved the way for modern technology
Alan Turing was a brilliant British mathematician who changed the world. Born in 1912, he was a smart and curious child. Turing loved math and science from a young age, but his family offered little support for his interests. At school, he became close friends with a boy named Christopher Morcom, who encouraged him to be social and study hard. After Christopher suddenly died, Turing began to wonder what happened to the mind after death. This curiosity led him to turn to science to find answers to deep questions.
