【多益小教室】多益單字：clothing & clothes 都是衣服，用法哪裡不一樣？

相信大部分的朋友都知道，英文單字有＂可數和＂不可數＂之分。
所以在背單子的時候，千萬不要只注意中文意思；很多字的翻譯看不出可數∕不可數的區別，要查字典才知道。
今天要帶大家看的單字即是如此，希望大家在準備多益考試時能多多注意喔！
clothing 衣服（單數集合名詞，不可數）
clothes 衣服（恆用複數）
例：All of the clothing in this department store is on sale.
= All of the clothes in this department store are on sale.
（這間百貨公司所有的衣服都在特價出售。）
| clothing 衣服（單數集合名詞，不可數） | clothes 衣服（恆用複數） |
【注意】clothing 和 clothes 都是指「衣服」，均為不可數名詞，但 clothes 是複數名詞，所以跟複數的 be 動詞 are 搭配，而 clothing 為單數不可數名詞，與單數的 be 動詞 is 並用。
