A 珍妮，這項計畫預計在八月三十一日完成。別忘了！
B 我不會忘的。今天是幾月幾日？
A 今天是八月三十一日！
B 喔，糟了

1 What’s today’s date? 今天是幾月幾日？
表「日期」的英文為 date，因此詢問日期時，應使用 date，而非 day。
詢問日期有下列幾種說法：What’s the date today / tomorrow? 今 / 明天是幾月幾日？
= What’s today’s / tomorrow’s date?
= What date is (it) today / tomorrow?
回答有下列幾種說法： It’s April 30th (today / tomorrow). 今 / 明天是四月三十日。
= It’s the 30th of April (today / tomorrow).
= Today / Tomorrow is April 30th.
2 介詞 on 與日期並用
確切的日期與星期須與介詞 on 並用，如： on May 2nd 在五月二日
on Monday 在星期一
Peter was born on May 2nd, 2016.
彼得出生於 2016 年五月二日。
That restaurant is closed on Mondays.
那間餐廳星期一休息。
Notes： morning（早上）、afternoon（下午）、evening（傍晚）如與日期或星期並用時，介詞亦使用 on，如：
on the afternoon of May 2nd 在五月二日下午
on Monday morning 在星期一早上
We went to visit the museum on the afternoon of May 2nd.
我們五月二日的下午去參觀了博物館。
What did you do on Monday morning?
你星期一早上做了什麼？
