Directions: In this part, you will read a selection of texts, such as magazine and newspaper articles, letters, and advertisements. Each text is followed by several questions. Select the best answer for each question and mark the letter (A), (B), (C), or (D) on your answer sheet.

Questions 1-2 refer to the following advertisement.

In perfect condition—a slightly used Pineapple Notebook, MegaPro III model for sale. This is a real beauty, and it’s less than six months old! There is plenty of memory for practically anything you would want to do, including gaming and video editing. As an amateur filmmaker, I had no trouble working with speed and ease on it. Here is what the MegaPro III comes with:

• Wireless Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity
• 26-inch high-resolution screen with excellent color and brightness
• External DVD player (a different brand but compatible with Pineapple computers)
• Great quality built-in speakers
• 2 TB solid-state drive
• 24 GB of RAM
• Extra software, including games, a spreadsheet app, and much more
