短文聽讀 Dialogue

　　　Jonas will have saved $5,000 by the end of the year. He will have put aside enough money to buy his girlfriend a beautiful engagement ring. He plans to take her to Paris on a weekend and propose under the Eiffel Tower. He then plans to take her for a candlelit dinner on a cruise on the Seine. Jonas is such a romantic!

　　到今年年底前，喬納斯就會存好五千美元。他將存到足夠的錢買一隻漂亮的訂婚戒指給他女友。他計劃在一個週末要帶她去巴黎，並在艾菲爾鐵塔下求婚。他接著計劃要帶她到塞納河的遊船上享用燭光晚餐。喬納斯真是個浪漫的人！

1  表示「在……之前」的說法

比較 
by the time...　　等到……的時候

 Notes 
by the time 可引導副詞子句，修飾主句，但須注意句子時態的變化。
By the time I arrived, the plane had already taken off.
等到我抵達時，飛機已經起飛了。
By the time you come home, I will have prepared dinner.
等你回到家時，我將已弄好晚餐了。
