Chris was awoken from his deep sleep by his wife, Hannah. She told him it was already 6 a.m., and that he had to get up now lest he miss his train. Chris couldn’t bring himself to leave his nice, warm bed, though, so he slept until 7 a.m. As one would expect, he didn’t catchhis early train. Maybe he should have booked a later train. Or maybe he should have listened to his wife and gotten out of bed sooner!
Getting out of bed in the morning is not an easy thing to do, especially if you are not a morning person. It can be tempting to keep pressing the snooze button so that you get a few more preciousminutes under the covers. However, most sleep expertsagree that going back to sleep can disruptthe body clock even more. So, when the alarm goes off, get straight out of bed, lest you fall back asleep!
