 A  Would you like tea or coffee?
 B  Neither, thanks. I’m cutting down on caffeine.
 A  What would you like to drink then?
 B  Do you have either water or juice?
 A  I have both. Which would you prefer?
 B  Hmm, just water. Thanks.
 A  No problem. Shall I add some ice?
 B  Sure!

 

 A  你要喝茶還是咖啡？
 B  謝謝，都不要。我正在減少咖啡因的攝取。
 A  這樣的話你要喝什麼？
 B  你有水或果汁嗎？
 A  這兩種我都有。你比較想要哪一種？
 B  嗯，水就好。謝謝。

either A or B           不是 A 就是 B

“either... or...” 為對等連接詞，可連接對等的單字、片語或子句。此對等連接詞連接兩個主詞時，動詞的單複數須以最靠近的主詞做變化。
