 A  Are you going to Tina’s birthday party?
 B  Yes, but I don’t know what gift to buy for her.
 A  I think chocolates are the best idea. She really loves them.
 B  Yes, but they are the most obvious choice. Everybody will buy them.

 A  你會去蒂娜的生日派對嗎？
 B  會，可是我不知道要買什麼禮物送她。
 A  我想巧克力是最棒的主意。她很喜歡巧克力。
 B  對，可是巧克力是最顯而易見的選項。大家都會買它們。

 

單字片語 Vocabulary and Phrases

 1  gift       n. 禮物
 =  present

 2  buy       vi. & vt. 買 （三態為：buy, bought, bought）
     buy sth for sb           買某物給某人
 =  buy sb sth
     I would like to buy a doll for my younger sister.
 =  I would like to buy my younger sister a doll.
     我想買一個娃娃給我妹妹。

 3  chocolate          n. 巧克力

 4  obvious          a. 明顯的
     It is obvious that Sam is lying.
     很明顯山姆在說謊。

 5  choice      n. 選擇
     make a choice           做出選擇
     It’s hard to make a choice between cake and ice cream.
     很難在蛋糕跟冰淇淋之間做出選擇。

 6  everybody      pron. 每個人
 =  everyone
     At the end of the concert, everybody stood up.
 =  At the end of the concert, everyone stood up.
     演唱會結束時，大家都站起來了。

 1   最高級的型態及用法 

本課的 best（最好的）及 most obvious（最顯而易見的）皆為最高級形容詞。最高級是由形容詞或副詞變化而成，表示 「最……」。
