人最棒的一件事情，就是要冷靜。
If you stay calm, you'll remain reasonable.
做什麼事情你都會比較合理，不要動不動就發脾氣。
He tends to lose his temper.
He tends to lie.
他動不動就說謊

我們就有一位小王這個朋友，他總是非常的冷靜。遇到什麼事情 他絕對是冷靜以待。
那麼這句話的英文
“He remains collected.”
你看這個字多棒，我們常常是用 He remains calm. 那也可以用 collected，冷靜的。
或者你用俏皮的話也可以說：He is as cool as a cucumber.
他冷靜得跟什麼一樣，跟 cucumber，像黃瓜一樣這樣。
cucumber 就是黃瓜

我們講說 “He remains collected.”
“He remains calm.”就可以了

I like Peter. No matter what happens, he remains collected and never loses his cool.
That's why he wins my respect.

「我喜歡彼得。不管發生什麼樣的事情」
「他都是保持冷靜的。collect 加個 ed，當個形容詞用。不是 被收集好的，而是代表很冷靜的這個意思。
“and never loses his cool.”也就是 「從來不動氣」，就是 and never loses his temper 這樣子。他總是冷靜以待，多麼棒的用法。
“That's why he wins”他說這也是為什麼 他怎麼樣呢“wins our 或是 my respect”
