Edward Ashton is the author of Mickey7. He has written several other novels and short stories. He publishedhis first novel, Three Days in April,in 2015, followed by The End of Ordinary in 2017. His third book, Mickey7, is one of his most popular releases. Its sequel, Antimatter Blues, was published in 2023.
Ashton lives in a cabinin a forest in Upstate New York with his family and a dog. One of his hobbies is carvingthings out of wood. It might be surprising, but writing is just another one of his hobbies and not his full-time job. His main job is researching cancer. He tests different drugsto see which ones can help stop the disease. In addition to his research, Ashton teaches advanced science classes to graduate studentsat a university.
