These days, it is not uncommon to see movie-goers buy a bucket of popcorn and a Coke at the concession stand before entering the movie theater.

a. For many people, this is something they regularly do when they go to the movies.

b. Just the smell of freshly popped popcorn is enough to make them happy.

c. In addition, snacking adds more fun to the movie experience.

第二段: Last week, my sister and I went to the movies.

a. We arrived late to the movie, so we went straight in without buying anything to eat or drink.

b. However, the food other viewers were eating smelled so good that we couldn’t focus on the movie.

c. We were unable to resist the temptation to snack, so we went to the concession stand for chips and sodas.

結論句: The moment I put a chip in my mouth, I felt that I was truly at the movies.

範文

These days, it is not uncommon to see movie-goers buy a bucket of popcorn and a Coke at the concession stand before entering the movie theater. For them, eating snacks is an inseparable part of the movie ritual . Just the buttery smell of popcorn is enough to put a smile on their face, not to mention the pleasure of snacking that enhances the movie experience. Why some people want to ban food in movie theaters is beyond me .

Last week, my sister and I went to the movies. The movie had already started by the time we arrived, so we quickly slipped into the theater without buying snacks or drinks. Ten minutes later, we began to regret that decision since lots of people around us were eating. The smells of fried chicken and popcorn were so tempting that we had a hard time concentrating on the movie. Eventually, we caved in and went out to buy some chips and sodas. The moment I put a chip in my mouth, I felt that I was truly at the movies.

另一觀點的範文

A lot of people enjoy eating popcorn and sipping on soft drinks in the movie theater. As far as I am concerned, this behavior causes nothing but annoyance. For one thing, the garbage and discarded food or spilled drinks leave a mess to be cleaned up. For another, the sounds of crackling packets, rustling wrappers, crunching food, and slurping drinks are all very distracting. What makes it even more unbearable is the overpowering smell of certain foods. I simply want to enjoy the movie, and that is why I think food should be banned in the theater.

I remember one time I was at a movie theater in my neighborhood. As I walked toward my seat, I was disgusted by the sticky floor in my row, and there was a wet patch on my seat! My mood was already ruined, and little did I know things would only get worse. The viewers sitting next to me started eating braised chicken wings right after the movie began. The sound of crinkling plastic bags was irritating, and the scent of star anise and clove made my stomach growl. To this day, I can still remember this unpleasant experience, but I have forgotten most of the details of the movie.
