The day had finally come. For years, Chris had been planning to take part in an exchange programin his senior year of college. In the early morning, his parents drove him to the airport. They walked to the departure lobby together, hugged, and said goodbye to each other. After his parents left, Chris went to the counter and checked in his luggage. The ground crew then asked Chris to show his passport. To his surprise, he couldn’t find his passport anywhere. He started to panic and didn’t know how to react. All of a sudden, he found himself sitting up on his bed. He then realized that it was all just a nightmare. He reached for his backpack and checked whether or not his passport was inside. At the same time, the alarm he had set the night before went off , reminding him that it was time to wake up. Today was the day he’d planned to go abroad.
