Billionaire Space Trips Mark New Era in Space Flight
富豪貝佐斯太空之旅劃下新紀元

　　 On July 20, 2021, billionaire Jeff Bezos boarded a rocket designed by his company Blue Origin. Along with his brother and two other crew members, the New Shephard spaceship took the former Amazon CEO into space, where he stayed for about 11 minutes before returning to Earth.

　　在 2021 年七月二十日，億萬富豪傑夫．貝佐斯登上一艘由他的公司藍色起源所設計的火箭。連同他的弟弟和其他兩位宇航員，新謝帕德號將這位前亞馬遜總裁帶向外太空，在那裡他停留了約十一分鐘，然後返回地球。

　　 Blue Origin, which is Bezos ’ privately-owned space flight company, announced the launch in May. Shortly after the announcement, the CEO of rival company Virgin Galactic , Richard Branson, announced that he would also be making a trip to space aboard the Unity spaceship. Branson’ s flight was completed on July 11, marking the first time that civilian passengers left Earth ’s atmosphere on a space flight.

Animals Return to Taiwan’s Mountain Parks During COVID Outbreak
疫情期間　野生動物強勢回歸山林！

　　 When restrictions were in place throughout last summer due to the COVID-19 virus, Taiwan’s recreation areas were off limits to people. However, there were still plenty of visitors walking around the parks. With fewer people in sight, the wildlife in places like Yushan National Park was able to wander freely. Normally shy animals like the Formosan sambar deer, Formosan serow and Mikado pheasants were common sights over the summer, according to park officials.

 　　去年整個夏天由於新冠病毒而實施限制令時，臺灣的休閒娛樂地區禁止民眾進入。然而，還是有許多的訪客在公園裡四處遊蕩。由於人變少，在像是玉山國家公園等地區的野生動物們能夠自由地遊蕩。據園方表示，通常來說，像是臺灣水鹿、臺灣長鬃山羊和帝雉等害羞的動物在夏天很常見。

 　　Before the COVID-19 outbreak, many animals would only appear at dawn and dusk, when humans were less likely to be around. However, during the month of July, a variety of animals were often observed wandering around the trails and recreation areas throughout the entire day, reported park staff. After humans begin returning to the area in large numbers, the animals’ more timid behavior will likely also return.

 　　在疫情爆發前，許多動物只會在黎明跟黃昏時出現，那時人類不太可能於附近出現。然而，在七月時，據公園的員工所述，各種不同的動物經常可見整日於小徑和娛樂區遊蕩。在民眾開始大量回流至此區域的同時，這些動物們較畏生的行為模式很可能也會復萌。
