 　　Do you want to visit Namaqualand? Allow us to give you a few tips for your trip. First of all, driving is the best way to go. It's about a five-hour journey   from Cape Town, the nearest major city. The town of Nieuwoudtville, which is just under four hours from the city, is one of the best places to see the daisies. At the center of town stands a lovely church, and there are countless fields of flowers to enjoy.

 　　Next, take in the splendid views of the Biedouw Valley. The road cuts through a valley pass, which sits on the eastern edge of the Cederberg Mountains. There, at Enjo Nature Farm, you can camp for the night on the banks of the Biedouw River.

 　　If you fancy a hike, head over to Namaqua National Park. There are walking trails through fields with over 1,000 different types of flowers. There are also windmills in the park, which are signs of the region’s history as a Dutch colony. If you’re looking for a place to stay, then try a night in a traditional Khoisan hut in the national park. All these things and more await you at wonderful Namaqualand.
