Leo walks up with his family to the entrance of an amusement park.
L: Leo P: Park Staff Member
P: Welcome to King’s Point Amusement Park. May I see your tickets, please?
L: I have digital tickets on my phone that I bought online.
P: Please raise your QR code to the scanner. I see you have tickets for two adults and one child. Is this your child right here?
L: Yes, she is.
P: Sorry for asking, but is she 12 or under? The age limit for children’s tickets is 12.
L: Oh, no. She just turned 13 a few days ago. She was 12 when I booked the tickets, though.
P: This is a tricky situation, indeed. I’ll make a quick call to my manager to see if we can make any adjustments for this special case. Otherwise, I’m afraid you’ll have to pay for a full-price ticket.
