A great way to get things fixed is with a little help from some friends. One organization that is devoted to doing this is Repair Café. They help to set up locations where people can meet to fix things together in a community environment. In many cases, these meeting spots are at schools, libraries, or religious centers.
Anyone can bring their broken items or clothes to one of these locations. Volunteers with repair experience are often present, and they are willing to help people make repairs. What’s more, these cafés usually have plenty of tools available, so you don’t need to buy or borrow them.
