實用會話 Dialogue

 A  Shall we get the check?
 B  Sure, but it’s my treat.
 A  Absolutely not. Let’s go Dutch.
 B  No, no. You traveled all this way to see me. Moreover, you bought me that expensive watch and that lovely shirt. Therefore, I’m paying for this!
 A  OK, OK. However, I’ m paying tomorrow night!
 B  Deal.

 

 A  咱們要結帳了嗎？
 B  好呀，但這餐我請客。
 A  絕對不行。咱們平分吧。
 B  不，不要。你大老遠跑來看我。除此之外，你還買給我那只昂貴的手錶和那件好看的襯衫。所以，這餐我來付！
 A  好，好。不過，明晚由我來付！
 B  一言為定。
 

 

單字片語 Vocabulary and Phrases

  = bill
     get / have / pay the check / bill      付帳單，買單

 2  go Dutch (with sb)  　（和某人）分攤費用，各付各的
 =  split the check / bill
     Dutch       a. 荷蘭的
     split          vt. 均分，分配（三態同形）
     Let’ s go Dutch.
 =  Let’ s split the check / bill.

 3  moreover      adv. 此外，而且
    The rent of my new apartment is cheap. Moreover, the location is perfect.
    我新公寓的房租很便宜。此外，地點非常完美。

 5  lovely　 　a. 美麗的；可愛的；令人愉快的
     What a lovely daughter you have!

 6  pay      vi. & vt. 付款
  （三態為：pay, paid, paid）
    pay for...         付……的費用
    Let me pay for the meal.

    The boss pays her secretary $2,000 a month.

 7  deal      n. 協定，交易
     Deal. 一言為定 / 就這麼辦。（常於口語使用）
 =  It’ s a deal.
      A  Say, how about we meet at 2 p.m.?
      B  Deal! / It’ s a deal!
      A  哎，我們下午兩點碰面怎麼樣呢？
      B  沒問題！
