What had Alex planned to study in college?
Why did Alex fail the exam?
What did Alex learn from his experience?
Alex was so close to getting a scholarship to the college of his dreams. He had been preparing for years to study architecture in a prestigious college in the UK, and all he had to do was pass one final exam. However, Alex became nervous and started doubting his ability, so he decided to cheat by smuggling his smartphone into the exam hall. When one of the teachers saw him using his phone, he was immediately disqualified from the exam and given an automatic fail.
Alex was devastated. If he had believed in himself more, he might not have made such a serious error of judgment. If he hadn’t cheated, he would have gotten the scholarship and would now be studying to be an architect. But he did learn one important lesson: Cheaters never prosper!
