(彼得很浪費,因此每個月底他幾乎沒剩什麼錢了。)
3. sleepy / asleep
a. sleepy 是形容詞,表『想睡的』、『睡意濃的』。
例: I feel sleepy. I guess I should take a nap.
(我很想睡。我想我應打個盹才行。)b. asleep 亦為形容詞,表『睡著的』,常與動詞 fall 並用。
例: The teacher's lecture was so boring that more than half of the students fell asleep in the middle of the class.
(老師的講授很乏味,因此上課上到一半,有半數以上的學生都睡著了。)
