        This month, the third film in the Fantastic Beasts series will be released in theaters. The story is set in the 1930s, generations before the adventures of the Harry Potter films. Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore follows Newt Scamander as he tries to stop the dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald. In the newest film, Newt and his companions will need the help of the famous wizard, Albus Dumbledore.

        Newt, played by Eddie Redmayne, and his friends are sent on a journey across the world to stop Grindelwald, played by Mads Mikkelsen. Reports suggest the film will include scenes in the UK, US, Brazil, and Germany, as well as in Bhutan and China.

        The screenwriter, J.K. Rowling, announced in 2016 that there will be five films in the Fantastic Beasts series. For fans eager to explore more of Rowling’s magical world of wizardry, there is still plenty to look forward to.

This film is about a girl’s journey across India.

詹姆士渴望結婚並安定下來。

★     7.     explore [ ɪkˋsplor ] vt. 探索
Taking a gondola ride is a good way to explore Venice.
搭乘貢多拉船是探索威尼斯的一個好方法。
                * gondola [ ˋgɑndələ ] n.（義大利威尼斯運河中的）鳳尾船

 

        ►   wizard [ ˋwɪzɚd ] n. 男巫
               wizardry [ ˋwɪzɚdrɪ ] n. 魔法，法術，巫術
        ►   screenwriter [ ˋskrin͵raɪtɚ ] n. 影視編劇

哈利波特電影二十週年

　　相信哈利波特系列作品應該伴隨著不少讀者度過童年時光。不論是藉由書籍或是電影踏入 J.K. 羅琳魔法世界的人，想必都無法忘懷當初閱覽時的悸動，彷彿自己揮舞著雙手並唸出咒語，就能如劇中角色一樣施展魔法。自 2001 年首集電影《哈利波特：神秘的魔法石》上映以來，魔法風潮席捲全球。即便哈利波特系列電影已於 2011 年劃下句點，但始終仍熱度不減，深植於人心。2021 年，有許多相關活動慶祝哈利波特電影二十週年，各大影城也將該系列電影重新放上大銀幕，讓哈利波特迷重溫當初的感動。與此同時，相關前傳電影及怪獸系列電影也在熱映中，包含今年度的大片：《怪獸與鄧不利多的秘密》。
