- go off （電力）切斷，停止
- a power outage 停電，斷電
Because of an explosion at a power plant, almost all of Taiwan's power was cut off today.
因為發電廠爆炸，所以今天幾乎全台停電。
Due to the strong typhoon, the electricity went off for several hours.
因為強颱來襲，所以停電了好幾小時。
- all of a sudden 突然地
All of a sudden, the lights in my room went out.
突然間，我房間裡的燈光熄滅了。
- light (vt.) 點燃；點亮（三態為：light, lit, lit。）
Jeff lit the candles on the table before sitting down to have a dinner with his wife.
傑夫在坐下來與老婆共進浪漫晚餐之前，先點燃了桌上的蠟燭。
手機有電很重要，電力多少這樣表示
I´ll need to plug my phone in because the battery is running low.
我等等需要幫我手機充電，因為電池快沒電了。
plug 當名詞時是「插頭」，當動詞則表「插上（某物的）插頭」，因此例句中提到的 “plug my phone in”就是「幫手機充電」的意思，此外還可以說 “charge the phone”。
- battery level 電池電量
My phone needs to be charged right now because the battery level is at 30%.
我的手機現在需要馬上充電，因為電量剩下30%。
- The battery is still good. 電池還有電。
- be dying / be running low 快沒電了
You´d better make the call right now.The phone battery is dying.
你最好趕快打電話。手機快要沒電了。 - died / be dead / be flat / be out of juice 沒電的
Can I borrow your power bank? My phone battery died / is dead.
我可以跟你借行動電源嗎？我的手機沒電了。
