Everyone finds it hard to get work done every now and then. Even though we all struggle with this, we generally consider a lack of work negative. We use words such as lazy, procrastinating, and idle to describe those who fail to get work done. While these terms are similar, they have slightly different meanings.
Laziness may be used when someone has a task to perform but isn’t completing it because they don’t want to use up a lot of their energy. Being lazy doesn’t mean not doing something at all. You can do a job in a lazy way if you are not putting in the effort required to do it well. Of course, you can also be lazy by avoiding the task altogether and instead spending your time watching TV or scrolling on your phone.
