隨著科技資訊愈來愈便捷，人們可以透過不同媒介進行通訊。附圖是臺灣某高中學生最常使用的通訊方式統計，請根據圖表內容寫一篇文長至少 120 個單詞( words) 的英文作文。文分兩段，第一段描述圖表所呈現的各種通訊方式占比; 第二段請說明你最常使用哪一種通訊方式以及原因。

寫作指導

圖表寫作的重點在於將圖表所提供的數據或文字等訊息轉換成文字敘述，以說明該圖表所呈現的內容。在分析圖表內容之後，筆者可將圖表內容與自身經驗相比照，再加以闡述。圖表寫作有以下三個重點:

1. 仔細審題: 一張圖表中可能包含很多資訊，下筆前應先仔細分析圖表所呈現的重點，才能正確且簡要地說明該圖表的內容。

2. 重點式描述圖表: 一般而言，不需要鉅細靡遺地描述圖表上的各項數據，而應仔細觀察圖表中數據的差異及關係，並加以說明這些數據所代表的現象。此外，務必熟悉描述圖表的單字並練習如何將數據加入句子當中(如百分比的介詞可用 at 加上數字或使用括號)，再者，為避免文句重複，也要練習換句話說的能力。

3. 與自身經驗連結: 簡述圖表所呈現的現象後，再與自身的生活經驗作連結，找出其中相似或相異之處，並再進一步說明原因為何。

Reasons

(a) Meeting people in person enables me to see their reactions to my remarks and can prevent misunderstandings.

(b) It can be overwhelming to be bombarded with one message after another.

The most and least preferred method

(a) Communication apps are the top way of communication at 40%.

(b) Using email to communicate only accounts for 5% of the students surveyed.

The percentages of the remaining ways

(a) Social media comes in second at 30%.

(b) The phone is in third place at 15%, followed by face-to-face conversations at 10%.

Conclusion

I prefer face-to-face conversations, where I can fully engage with the person I’m speaking with.
