　　Researchers at ETH Zurich have developed an experimental compound that may slow the progression of Alzheimer’s disease, offering a possible new treatment approach for patients worldwide. The compound, called Compound 10, was created after nearly 20 years of research led by Professor Ursula Quitterer. In experiments on mice, the treatment protected nerve cells, extended lifespan, and significantly improved heart health in older animals.
