  Eating a whole meal out of one bowl has become very common in recent years. In the 1900s, though, it was actually considered poor __1__. Also, some people believed it was bad for your stomach to mix all your food together. Thus, in the past, some people insisted on serving every dish separately. They would end up eating 11 __2__ in one meal sitting. In most cases, the different dishes were served at the same time, but on __3__ plates. People would try to finish each food item before taking a bite from the next to avoid mixing them together. Eating mixtures from a bowl was even seen as a little __4__.

  Now lots of dishes are served together in one bowl for people to enjoy. In many cases, it has helped people to __5__ healthier meals.
