H: I’ll be ready. Will you?

A: I haven’t decided if I should wear this purple dress. It’s pretty fancy, so it might be a little over the top. Or should I wear this black dress? It’s sleek and classy, but a bit plain.

H: I’d go with black. Grab one of your big necklaces and make it a statement piece.

A: That’s a good idea.

H: Why don’t you wear that bracelet I got you a few years ago? It will be a perfect match for the dress.

A: You think so? OK. What should I do about shoes?

H: Go with some plaited sandals. Don’t forget your sunglasses. It’s hot today, but you want to look cool.

A: What are you going to wear?

H: Oh, my suit is just back from the dry cleaner. I’ll wear it with a bow tie I got in South Africa.

A: Go ahead and put it on. I want to see how we look together.

H: OK, give me just a few minutes.

A: Perfect. This is going to be a great night of fashion and fun.
