T: It turns out that the shipment was held up because of government export2 controls.
K: To me, that doesn’t sound like good news.
T: Let me finish. The shipment needed an inspector▼’s approval3, and we had to submit4 another form to get that done.
K: OK. So when can we expect the shipment to arrive?
T: Probably in about three days. It passed inspection5 two days ago and is en route▼.
K: I see. That’s good to know, but please try to speed these things up in the future.
T: Of course. You are a valued client. I promise we will do our best to6 avoid this kind of delay in the future.
K: Thank you for getting back to7 me promptly8. I hope we can maintain our partnership▼ moving forward▼.
T: Absolutely. Please contact me anytime if you have an issue of concern.
