The importance of habits and routine
It is said that we are what we repeatedly do. Actions that you do again and again are called habits. Habits can be good, like going to the gym. But they can also be bad, like leaving dirty dishes on the table. All your habits together make up your daily routine.
The word “routine” sounds boring to some people—who wants to do the same thing every day? However, the truth is that positive habits and a regular routine are good for you in many ways. Research shows that a routine improves your mind. Tasks become easier, and this gives you more time to be creative. A routine also gives you a sense of control over your life. Even something like having the same hot drink at the same time every morning can lead you to a successful day.
