loop 有「圈，環」的意思，英文用 be in the loop 來表示在圈內了解特定消息的人

loop 有「圈，環」的意思，英文用 be in the loop 來表示在圈內了解特定消息的人，若要表示自己是不知情的圈外人士，則可以用 be out of the loop！
(be) in the loop 是（圈內）知情人士
(be) out of the loop 是（圈外）不知情人士
例：Because she was not in the loop, Monica didn’t know much about what was going on in the company.
因為莫妮卡不是決策圈內人士，所以不太清楚公司內發生了什麼事。in the loop：在職場上則是指「針對某一專案，參與討論或傳遞訊息的一群人」，而且在電子郵件往來裡，會被c.c.（carbon copy，寄送副本）的人。
Keep me in the loop. 隨時讓我了解進展狀況。
= keep someone updated / informed / postedloop (n.) 圈；環
keep sb in the loop 隨時讓某人知悉所發生的事
No problem. I will keep you in the loop.
(沒問題，我會保持與你聯繫讓你知道事情進展。)- Please keep me in the loop on any updates regarding the project.
(請讓我知道有關該項目的任何更新，讓我保持知情。)- Please take a good rest. I will keep you in the loop on the latest development with the project.
