What did you make in your previousposition?
也就是「how much did you make in your previousjob?」,用make這個動詞作「賺錢」的意思。
Do you mind me asking you what you made at your previousjob, ABC Company?
My base salary is 50,000 per month plus performancebonus.
Currently, I make 800,000 per year with a minimum of a 2-month year-endbonus.
1. To be honest, I’m not sure if my previoussalaryis relevantwith regard to this position. It was in a differentcompany with different responsibilities.
2. I’m aiming for a job that compensates me fairly for my qualifications and experiences.
I’m sure we’ll find a number that works forboth of us, but for now, I hope to make sure it’s a good fit.
works forboth of us就是「對兩邊都行得通」,而a good fit的fit是做名詞為「適合」的意思。
How much are you expecting to make at this job?
What is your salaryexpectation?
I’m focusing on a position in the 55K range. That would be a good starting point.
